Wonderwalls® curated and delivered the inaugural More Things Like This festival in Shellharbour in 2020.
This exciting project transformed the streets of Warilla, Albion Park and Oak Flats into a vibrant outdoor gallery, showcasing the talents of renowned street artists David Cragg, Claire Foxton, Trait, Scott Nagy, and Krimsone.
Key aspects of the project included:
Artist Selection & Collaboration: Curating a diverse lineup of internationally acclaimed street artists whose work resonated with the unique character and history of the area.
Project Management & Delivery: Overseeing all logistical aspects of the festival, including artist coordination, site preparation, community engagement, and event day management.
Social Media & Community Outreach: We developed and executed a targeted social media campaign to promote the project, generate excitement within the local youth community, and showcase the transformative power of public art.
Public Art Legacy: Creating a lasting legacy of high-quality public art that enhanced the visual appeal of Shellharbour area and attracted visitors to the region.
The inaugural More Things Like This festival was a resounding success, establishing a vibrant new cultural event for the community and showcasing the transformative power of public art. It returned again to the region in 2023.
